Join alongside the leading ladies at Ignite as they dive into all things faith! In this episode, Shelly and Courtney discussed how Week 1 of the Foundation Course is set up, what days they found most challenging, and their personal growth throughout the week.
Question: What was your favorite part of this episode, or what part did you relate to the most?
The part of the podcast which resonated with my most was the discussion about the simplicity of our faith’s definition. It is not about the logistics of our faith but the relationship we have with our savior. Faith timelines vary, our church affiliations are different, and our practices may also look unique, but ultimately we all worship and desire a relationship with the same God.
I personally related to listening to God. I am such a trend follower and want to know what God has planned for my journey, but when I pray I realized that I never just sit and listen I always and asking for this or asking for that. I now realize that I need to take a step back and just be and LISTEN.
My favorite part about this podcast is that I am not alone in my journey of faith with God, and that I have supporters,
The part about loving others resonated with me the most – “Does hating on someone really make you feel better? No.” Maybe for a split second but the remaining feelings are not worth it. When I struggle to love others I need to ask God for help.
