So, what does Romans 8:28 mean?

The word “good” does not necessarily mean a happy, painless, struggle free, and or financially successful life. God’s ultimate good for us is to glorify us in eternity (Revelation 21:1–4). All things may not be good, but God can and will use all things for good. Read Romans 8:28.
