  1. The older I get the more I realize that prayer is so much more than crossing your hands, it is a conversation. Prayer is so important because it allows us to grow in our faith. I always like to think of it this way, friendships don’t grow and strengthen if there are no conversations happening… they die out. So, how would my relationship with God grow if I’m not talking to Him?

  2. Prayer is how I personally connect with God. It is a time I come to Him with all my praises, pains, and questions. I live by the quote, “Give it to God then go to bed.” At the end of the day, I find peace in lifting my voice to Him in prayer and finding true rest in His promises.

  3. Prayer is how I truly feel peace. It’s a great way to talk things out with Him and get direction. Plus, it’s just a great way to focus.
